Our Services
Bailah HomeCare is pleased to offer a variety of services to meet your needs. You can trust us to design a customized care plan that is ideal for your loved one’s unique situation. Our care categories include the following:
Skilled Nursing
Skilled nursing is the bedrock of the Bailah Home Care service. Our licensed nurses and highly-trained home care companions support both physical and emotional well-being for our clients.
Skilled nursing involves everything from post-surgical care provided by licensed nurses to bathing, dressing, and other personal services by home companions. Our care helps clients recover from trauma or surgery, or age in place gracefully.
Medication Management
The medication management service supports clients’ adherence to medication regimes and helps post-surgical patients learn how to take new medications. This Bailah service is available for our in-home clients as well as clients in medical or assisted-living facilities. We monitor use and keep detailed records to ensure safe medication practices. We make sure clients get the right medications at the right time.
Personal Care
Companion Care
Companion care can be an excellent solution when a loved one reaches the stage where they need a little help at home. Having a patient, compassionate companion to help with meals, light housekeeping, transportation to medical appointments and social engagements, and shopping can make it possible for an aging relative to stay safe and independent in their homes.
- Bailah Home Care provides capable companions to support the needs of anyone who can no longer do
everything on their own. - Our companions are all English-speaking and well educated. We are cheerful and easy to be around.
- Our companions are trained to maintain close communication with family members, coordinating patientcare, monitoring, and reporting as needed to ensure thehighest quality of care.
At Bailah, personal care services are provided by mature, experienced caregivers who are licensed and trained in basic medical care as well as all the responsibilities of companion care. They understand advanced techniques such as the Hoyer Lift, the Barton Chair, and other safe transfer methods that enhance safety for both patient and caregiver. Personal care includes help with all the ADLs – Activities of Daily Living – such as bathing, toileting, dressing, meal preparation, and more, as the client needs it.
Companion care and the non-medical components of post-surgical care fall into the category of personal care. Bailah caregivers expertly deliver this kind of care.
Specialized Programs for Seniors
Specialized programs for seniors include fall prevention, stroke care, Alzheimers and dementia support, and more. We also help our clients’ hospice teams provide compassionate end-of-life care
Fall Prevention Program
Bailah offers a unique fall prevention program, administered by trained caregivers, that helps seniors reduce their risk of falls.
Our fall prevention program:
- Addresses a variety of fall hazards at home. These include chronic conditions and medications that can affect balance, visual disturbances like glaucoma and cataracts, musculoskeletal issues with muscles and joints, and fall hazards in the physical environment such as clutter and long electrical cords.
- Helps seniors understand their fall risk, avoid preventable falls and costly hospitalizations, and remain safe and independent at home for as long as possible.
Stroke Care
The path to recovery after a stroke is often arduous and complex. We guide stroke victims toward successful recovery in the comfort of their homes, where they can navigate the journey with as much independence as possible.
Stroke victims may have significant physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges to overcome. The good news is that our stroke care service can help them do just that:
overcome.
Our stroke care service offers mobility assistance, medication management, bathing, dressing, and personal care. It further includes help with driving, running errands, meal preparation, and more. With these services reliably in place for a loved one, families can regain their peace of
mind.
Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease Care
If a loved one has been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, families may find it increasingly difficult to care for them, especially if they begin to need full-time care. Our expert dementia care service is here to support you.
The onset of dementia can be a shock. Dementia can impair a loved one’s memory, communication, language, ability to focus and pay attention, reasoning, judgment, and visual perception. The condition may seem to appear suddenly, or it may onset gradually and take a long time to reveal itself. But one day, the person you used to know is barely there.
Yet, this disease does not have to signal the end of a productive life. We’ll help your loved one maintain a fulfilling daily routine and lead a comfortable life at home despite cognitive decline. In addition to empathetic care, we educate family members on ways to manage life as the condition progresses.
Our dementia care includes training for families, helping them learn to patiently and effectively care for a loved one experiencing cognitive decline, and making time spent together more enjoyable.
24/7 and Live-in Care
Elder care can be a significant challenge for family members who work, live far away, or have school-aged children. As the elder’s needs increase, 24/7 care may become necessary. Live-in and 24-hour home care can be the answer, placing a caregiver and companion day and night in the home. Companionship is further known to improve mood and stave off the loneliness and isolation that can lead to depression.
Signs that indicate the need for a switch to 24/7 care at home include:
- Increased signs of bruising that suggest trips or falls
- Bedwetting or other “accidents” because they can’t make it to the bathroom in the night
- Greater reliance on assistive equipment
- Wandering away from home
- Increased confusion as the dementia advances
- Feelings of isolation or overwhelm in caring for themselves alone
- Needing assistance to drink or eat
- Decreased agility or mobility due to a stroke or decline in physical condition
- When coming home from rehabilitation or a hospital visit
Which plan do you need?
- A 24-hour care plan is billed hourly and may involve 2-3 caregivers to provide round-the-clock care.
- A live-in caregiver stays for two days to a week before a change of rotation. This service is billed at a flat daily rate and typically costs less than round-the-clock, 24-hour care.

Respite Care
Respite care is one of Bailah Home Care’s most popular services. Caregiving can be overwhelming for family members. We step in for families and other caregivers when they need a break. We can provide either companion care or skilled nursing care depending on the patient’s condition.
Our respite care is an on-demand, as-needed service. Short (less than a full day) and longer-term options are available upon request.
Customized Care
Experience tells us that every client is unique. That’s why our work together begins with getting to know each client’s goals for care. We help adults dealing with chronic conditions like cancer, or injuries that result in temporary or permanent immobility. We can also support clients’ rehabilitative teams.
We can also customize advanced nursing services, concierge care, medication management, and physical therapy.
- Has your doctor prescribed a highly specific or complex medical regime? Once we understand your goal, we design a customized care plan to help you. We encourage the whole family to play an active role in creating the plan.
- As your situation changes, we modify the care plan
- If you have a specific service in mind but don’t see it listed on this website, simply let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate you. We have the expertise to craft specialized care plans to meet specialized needs.
Care Management
Navigating healthcare systems today can become a full-time job for families. Ensuring your senior is getting what they need is often challenging, time-consuming, and sometimes frustrating.
Care management can include:
- Chronic disease management (diabetes, Alzheimers, dementia, stroke care, cancer care, Parkinson’s, mobility concerns)
- Putting together the right medical and care teams
- Getting separate teams working in harmony
- Managing multiple medications and ensuring medication adherence
- Reviewing medical bills from multiple sources and more
A professional care manager ties all the pieces together, manages doctor’s appointments, and keeps the cycle of care humming along without interruptions.
A Bailah care manager can navigate the maze of medical complexity or assist a primary caregiver in care management. We can also step in as respite caregivers to handle care management when primary caregivers are away.
We provide comprehensive care management services at home, medical facilities, and nursing homes.
On-Demand Care
Our on-demand care services are available on an as-needed basis. Services in this category include:
- Hands-on personal care, providing non-medical support for activities of daily living
- Companion care, which includes services like driving or accompanying clients to doctor appointments, pet appointments, grocery shopping, and social events, can be perfect for someone who lives alone and only occasionally needs assistance.
- Respite care provides temporary relief, offering a primary caregiver the luxury of a break. Bailah offers excellent respite care on demand.
- On-demand care is available at hourly or flat daily rates. No contracts are required. (Please make a reservation for these services.)
Physical Therapy
Bailah Home Care’s physical therapy (PT) services are for existing clients who need more PT than their health plan allows—and bedbound patients need it the most. Our licensed and experienced physical therapists will develop a treatment plan based on a doctor’s prescription. This is offered to Bailah clients through Bailah Rehabilitative Services.
Post-Surgical Support
Bailah’s comprehensive post-surgical support services provide the care and assistance needed for many patients to recover safely and comfortably at home.
They include:
